Frequently Asked Questions
How can I contact you?
For the fastest respond, text Desmond at (816) 761-1102. Response time is usually within minutes.
Do you ship neon signs?
We only ship signs on a pallet, and that requires quantity to be economical.
Do you ship neon parts?
We'll be shipping neon parts starting sometime in 2026. We are currently uploading more parts to our site everyday. If you don't see a part online, we still have it in stock. We'll be uploading hundreds of new parts onto the site after our busy Christmas season.
Do you repair neons?
Yes! We've been repairing neons for 45 years!
Do you have any guarantees?
We offer a year guarantee on the transformer for 1 year and the neon glass for 10 years, except breakage. Guarantee only available if you bring it back to our warehouse in south Overland Park, or a current popup store.
Do you do local deliveries?
Sometimes! We do trips frequently to cities like St. Louis, Chicago, Dallas, and other possible locations.
Do you have any physical locations?
Our main warehouse is located in south Overland Park, Kansas. We also have popup stores in Kansas City and St. Louis areas.
Where do you get your merchandise?
We've been collecting and buying it for 50 years from breweries, manufacturers, and individuals.
Why buy from Pub Decor instead of somewhere else online?
Most of our neons are US-made. A handful are Chinese-made, but authorized by the breweries, and ARE NOT LEDs. Most of the cheap signs you see online are LEDs. Most of the beer neon signs exist in scarce quantities today. Also, we have quality guarantees.
What's the difference between an LED and a neon?
A neon sign is a tube of glass that is filled with gas, neon or argon gas, powered by the transformer. I have neons that are 80+ years old, and still work. They last many many years, and if a transformer burns out, it can be replaced and will continue to last. Rarely do the bulbs themselves burn out, unlike LEDs. An LED is a plastic sign filled with little channels of LED lights. If they begin burning out or quit working, there isn't much you can do. If the power supply goes bad, you can match it exactly and possibly get it working again. The lifespan is much less for LED beer signs.
Why do I see so many cheap signs online?
A lot of times it says neon signs, and it's NOT actually a neon sign. It is an LED. A lot of the inexpensive neons online are VERY small, generally 12-15 inches and do not last, and cannot be repaired.
What if I have a broken neon sign?
We have standard neon replacement parts. You can always take it to a shop to have it fixed, but it's generally cheaper for us to sell you a part. Most neon shops will not repair mercury units, which is what most beer signs are. They will only repair red units that do not have mercury in them. All other colors, white, blue, green, yellow, purple, etc are generally mercury tubes and will not repair it. But we have replacement parts for many signs.
Is the price any better if I buy quantity?
Absolutely. The more you buy, the cheaper it gets, as seen in our coasters category. The price goes down the more you order. Same goes with neons.
